Katharine (Grayson's mommy) and I grew up together. She was closer to my sister's age, and I was good friends with her older sister. With the wonderful world of Facebook we have reconnected! I have enjoyed watching her life from a distance (in a totally non creepy way! lol!) as she got engaged, married and then as they announced their first baby girl! I am always so honored when I am asked to photograph a beautiful moment in time like this, but I think it's always exciting when its someone you knew growing up!
